At Le Bois de Rosoy,
respect and ecology
are the key words
Just an hour from Paris, nestled within a nine-hectare forest estate, Le Bois de Rosoy offers immersive stays in the heart of nature: treehouses or multi-day guided adventures in the forest. Here at Le Bois de Rosoy, respect and ecology are the watchwords.
However, behind this soothing atmosphere, meticulous work takes place every day. There is hygiene and maintenance, water and energy management, team organization… An operational standard that is part of a comprehensive approach to responsible hospitality, in which Green Care Professional naturally finds its place.
A committed project, for guests and staff alike
Founded by Axelle and Victor Zandvliet, Le Bois de Rosoy is a family-run project driven by a shared vision: to offer immersive hospitality in the heart of nature – demanding yet deeply respectful of all living things.

Alongside the founders, Gwladys Sinka, the property’s housekeeper and a hospitality expert with over fifteen years of experience, shares this same culture of eco-responsibility and care for both the premises and the staff.
Together, they are evolving the estate’s practices within the framework of the Clef Verte certification and beyond.
Respect and environmental stewardship are expressed on multiple levels. First, respect for the silence of the forest and its ecosystems. Second, respect for guests who come to recharge. Finally, respect for employees, who are involved in decisions and the development of the site.
Practical environmental stewardship, not just talk
At Bois de Rosoy, environmental responsibility translates into very concrete actions.
First and foremost, widespread waste sorting: 90 to 95% is recycled. Consumables are free of single-use plastic: compostable coffee capsules, Green Care Professional cleaning products in recycled and recyclable packaging, EU Ecolabel-certified bedding, and duvets and pillows made from recycled materials. Next, energy efficiency and water management are at the heart of our practices. The spas are sized to minimize consumption, and the estate has a small-scale wastewater treatment plant to treat water on-site. Furthermore, food and events prioritize short supply chains and local products: seasonal fruits, corn from the farm to make popcorn on-site, chips made in Picardy, and food trucks from the village of Rosoy. Finally, laundry management is handled in-house. Green Care Professional laundry detergents, combined with automated dosing, help reduce the carbon footprint while maintaining quality.
At the same time, having already earned the Clef Verte certification, the resort is now aiming to obtain the European Ecolabel for Tourist Accommodation by 2026.
On-site constraints that shape decisions
With cabins nestled deep in the forest – meaning that staff must travel on foot throughout the resort – housekeeping operations rely on lightweight, versatile, and safe equipment. Furthermore, the work is predominantly manual, with a particular focus on preventing musculoskeletal disorders and ensuring simple processes. In this demanding environment, the products used must combine effectiveness, low environmental impact, and comfort for the teams.
Actions That Make a Difference
Green Care solutions support this operation on a daily basis: surface cleaning, restroom maintenance, floors, and linens.
In particular, Quick & Easy makes moving around easier thanks to its concentrated bottles and color-coded system that ensures safe use. Meanwhile, the Kliks system automates dosing in the laundry, allowing for low-temperature washing while keeping linens fresh and pleasant. Additionally, TANET karacho is used for its versatility, while WC mint is appreciated for its subtle, natural scent, which is well-received by guests.

“Choosing Green Care Professional cleaning products allows us to reduce product consumption, usage errors, waste, and physical strain. This enables us to maintain high standards for our clients – both in terms of impeccable cleanliness and our commitment to the environment,” explains Axelle Zandvliet, co-founder of Le Bois de Rosoy
“With Green Care, we have products that are effective, simple, and environmentally friendly. Our clients feel the difference in the atmosphere of the space, even if they don’t see the products. And our teams, for their part, know that what they do matters, and that shows in their commitment,” adds Gwladys Sinka – Housekeeper
A relationship built over time
Finally, beyond technical solutions, the collaboration with Green Care Professional is based on constant communication. This includes technical advice, on-site support, and responsiveness to the site’s specific constraints.
This relationship of trust allows Le Bois de Rosoy to continue evolving its practices and to take its environmental approach even further.
“We’ve been working with Green Care Professional for four years now. It’s been a very positive collaboration. Their products are easy to use, effective, and eco-friendly, and above all, their team is always attentive to our ideas and needs and knows how to provide a solution for every challenge,” explains Gwladys Sinka – Manager
A shared vision of sustainability, care, and respect
Ultimately, at Bois de Rosoy, responsible hospitality is not just a marketing gimmick. It is rooted in the daily alignment between our mission, our teams, and our practices.
Green Care Professional is an integral part of this approach, offering simplicity, safety, and performance, while embodying the values of innovation and environmental responsibility.
